The accommodation establishments you will find in this section have been personally visited and chosen for their exquisite character and friendliness.  The hotels, guesthouses and B&B’s in South Africa are of an exceptional high standard and Platinum Golf only uses those establishments that have been graded by the Tourism Grading Council (TGCSA). 

The differences between hotels and a guesthouse or B&B are not always well defined, but in general it is fair to state that:

Hotel	In general 15+ rooms with more facilities on-site;
Guesthouse	In general 6 - 15 rooms, more individually decorated with attention to detail.  Often owner run/managed;
B&B	Up to 5 rooms, personal attention.  Mostly owner run/managed;
Game Reserve	Safari lodges, inside a (privately owned) game reserve.  More often than not game drives and meals are included.

- Would you like to be central and within fine wining and dining distance from shops and restaurants?
- Would you like be on the water’s edge, whether that’s the beach, river frontage or a lake for the sound of the waves, the smell of the ocean or your morning swim?
- Would you like to be in the forest or mountains for the quietness, the fresh air and the revitalizing early morning walk?
